Wednesday:
Good day to all. I hope you are doing great. To start off let us take a look at what is going on in the world around us. Take a look at this website, pick one topic and be ready to share something you learned. EOE
Now it is test time. You have seven minutes to take notes on your cheat card. After which you will need to take the quiz below. Unit 6:Quiz
The rest of the period we will be taking a look at each others Final Project Presentations. I will also be handing out your scoresheet associated with
your project.
For your homework you have an FRQ to do. This is not an easy one. Please hand write your essay. You may use resources to help formulate and outline your response.
our project.
On Friday we will be taking a test on Unit 6: RIsks, Exposure and Health. Be ready for that. You will have a cheat card to use.
Friday:
Hello, hello. Good day to all. So sad to see so many absent today. No problem though. I will bombard you with emails so everyone will be caught up by Tuesday.
For the weekend you will need to accomplish two things that will both help in your understanding and success of the first six units of the year. We will be taking our Half Year Review Exam next Thursday. So you need to get ready.
Over the weekend please pick one of the units and outline it. There will be two students per unit so you may combine and do one awesome outline or you can each do your own. Either way works for me. Outlines are bare bones, not paragraph notes. Just be sure to highlight critical information that you feel is necessary. Be sure to use The Habitable Planet chapters and your 5 Steps to a 5 study materials book. Please use the Google Document to upload your information, so everyone can see and study from it. Semester One Study Outline
The second thing you will need to accomplish is to create seven (7) questions and answers pertaining to your topic. Every student needs to do this, so there will be fourteen (14) questions per unit. Please put your questions and answers on this Google Doc. Semester One Study Questions
Make sure you title your section with your name and section topic so it is easy to see the different submissions.
